Savings for the Week, February 21-27

So I have learned not to shop at night after a long day if at all possible.  My friend Charlotte and I headed to Bi-Lo with no children so I could show her how I coupon and we could shop without my two children and her four.  It was fun and we got some great deals but I think I was a little delirious by the end,11 pm!  Thankfully, she got us some Starbucks at the end, decaf to say the least!  We got some good deals and I squeezed just under my goal for this month.  It was a little confusing with lots of coupons, some that were free and all of us including the cashier being a little groggy.  Charlotte spent $200, mostly on meat they needed to restock on and now they are set for the next month at least.  She saved almost $250 with just a few coupons and the great deals.  Here is a list of what I got:

We will not be needing meat for a while now.  We never buy fish so this was a great treat and I look forward to seeing what we can make with it.  I was not planning on spending that much in general but I was not fully prepared either.  Normally I have a calculated total so I know almost to the penny what I am spending.  Well, you live and learn.  Next time I will try not go if I am really tired and also I am going to calculate before I get there.
