Menu Planning Monday




After being gone for almost a week and a half I am actually thankful to get back and have a planned menu for us all.  I am realizing more and more that this is not just a post for a menu but also accountability to use up what we already have and shop for just the few items needed to complete our dinners.  I thought I would try also to be more  proactive in planning for our breakfast and lunches, so this is what I came up with this week:

Breakfast:

  • Oatmeal
  • Pancakes
  • Cereal 

*Sides of fruit, yogurt, or granola

Lunch:

  • Lunchables
  • PB&J
  • Ham sandwiches
  • Chicken Fries
  • Tuna Salad Sandwiches
*Sides of fruit, yogurt, and granola

Dinner:
  • Tacos (beef, cheese, sour cream, salsa) and refried beans
  • Spaghetti (beef, noodles, sauce) and cheese biscuits
  • White Bean Chili and cornbread or cheese biscuits
  • Quesadillas (black bean, corn, and cheese)

*We are having a date night and two nights we will be eating out with students who will be  in town for a retreat.
