Savings for the Week, March 27-April 3

This was a slow shopping week for us at the Jordan household.  We were very busy doing other things this week.  Our youngest turned one early in the week and we had a lot of fun celebrating with a fun and frugal party!  On Wednesday I spent most of the day cooking and baking for our Once A Month Cooking.  And all week long I have been hosting a fun giveaway of cookware!  It has been a fun but busy week.

I did do a little shopping at the beginning of the week for some staples and odds and ends at Walmart. I ended up with coupons spending about $30 but even that I purchased on a gift card, so virtually free.  My favorite purchases there was the flour (bread, whole wheat, and self-rising).  I had coupons for Gold Medal flour from Coupons.com  that were available last month.  My other favorite purchase was the YoPlus 4-pack yogurt that I had $1/1 coupons for.  They were $1.50 each without coupons, making them $.50 each.  Coupons.com has these same $1/1 coupons available now that they have been restocked for April.  You can get them possibly cheaper at Publix, Kroger, or Bi-Lo with a sale.

Bi-Lo had a few bargains this week that I cashed in on.  Del Monte fruit and veggies in particular were on sale.  I got a few of these along with a couple of other things for $9 Out of Pocket exactly(when does that ever happen?).  Happily, we stayed under our $50 a week budget, (way under) this week.

How about you?  What great deals did you score this week?  I would love to hear!
